Inbound Certification from HubSpot

A couple of weeks ago I was introduced to the Inbound Certification program by HubSpot. Since I have a passion for learning and a deep interest in inbound marketing, I thought it would be a great resource to add something new to my knowledge and to get a certificate upon passing the 60-questions test.

I was not wrong. The videos and slides, provided by the HubSpot Academy, are extensive, well-structured and contain a lot of valuable information and tips. The self-paced curriculum introduces the fundamentals of how to attract visitors, convert leads, close customers and delight customers into promoters.

What is the Inbound Certification HubSpot Program?

The Inbound Certification is a comprehensive marketing course that covers the core elements of the Inbound Methodology. Keep in mind that the “inbound marketing” term was coined by HubSpot’s CEO Brian Halligan in 2005. So who else can make a top-quality course on the subject other than themselves?

I find the course very suitable not only for marketers, but also for entrepreneurs, sales managers and any type of people who have anything to do with customers of their firm or the company they work for. The Inbound Certification is free and open to everyone.

HubSpot Customer Attraction Methodology

Each one of the classes comes with a video, narrated by one of the HubSpot Academy professors, slides and a transcript – all of these are downloadable. So whether you’re a visual, auditory or reading-preference learner, there’s a little something for you. You can discuss the materials with other people with the same interests in the forum or quiz yourself once you’re done with a particular class.

Once you’re ready with all the classes and you feel confident enough, you can take the 60-questions test. You have 75 minutes to do so.  Questions are multiple choice and true/false. You have three chances to pass the test. If you do not pass, you will have to wait 48 hours before taking the test again.

What About the Certificate?

Certifications are valid for 13 months from the month when they were earned. You can also add it to your LinkedIn profile and join the Inbound Certification group on Inbound.org. Speaking of certifications, check out my certificate below:
